confirmation & Sunday school

Confirmation

Confirmation is an important part of the discipleship process for our youth at Karmel Covenant Church. A two year program for the 8th and 9th grade years, confirmation walks students through the story of the Bible, important theological and historical building blocks, and helps to form a basic foundation for the rest of a student's high school years - and the rest of his/her life.

Confirmation takes place during the Sunday School hour (9:00-9:45 a.m. on Sundays during the school year) and is taught by Pastor Jason Hovis. If you have questions about Confirmation or would like your student to be a part of this discipleship opportunity, reach out to Pastor Jason.

quote-left

"These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

Deuteronomy 6:6-7

Sunday School

Sunday school is an opportunity for students to study topics related to faith in an in-depth way. There are two Sunday school classes, one for 6th & 7th grades and one for 10th-12th grades. The Sunday school hour takes place from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Sunday mornings during the school year. Check out the church events calendar for specific dates.
