Great things are happening here at Karmel Covenant Church and we have some exciting news! After a 6-month long search process and COVID-19 delays, our Search Committee is happy to announce we have a candidate for our new Youth Pastor: Kohl Hanson! Kohl is currently on Ministry Staff at Lake Beauty Bible Camp and comes highly recommended to us from leaders of Youth Ministry in the Northwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Kohl will be with us July 18th & 19th with activities planned so everyone has the opportunity to meet him! First, members of our Church Board and Search Committee will meet with Kohl on Saturday at 10:30 AM outdoors at the home of Ryan and Ehlan Thompson (indoors at Karmel if raining). Second, junior and senior high youth groups will meet at the Parsonage (home of Pastor Jason & Jackie) from 5-8 PM on Saturday with Kohl. Youth group students, come with questions for our candidate! Third, Sunday morning worship will feature a message from Kohl as well as a question and answer (Q&A) session with him so come with your questions! Youth group parents, we’d especially love to have you as a part of this service! Lastly, our Congregational Quarterly Meeting will be Monday night, July 20th at 7 PM with a vote on our candidate as part of the nights business agenda.
